One thing I really like about my NH TR 99 is that it is not too tall. My shed door is 13 feet 4 inches high. My TR 99 has the Maurer extensions on it. I have both the flared extension and the tip up extension on top of that. It goes through the door with 4 inches of clearance. Since adding the tip up, I have never had to put it down. Many other combines would not even go through my door without an extension. I wonder why the other companies don't do more to keep the height down.

Its always good to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.

Yes, a low center of gravity is good. Grain tanks can be made bigger by making them taller or wider. I just wish the manufacturers would make them wider to start with.
