There are new John Deere combines coming. There is a posting at toytractortalk.com under real toys that has this mention.Maybe John Deere will wake up from their 10 year sleep and actually introduce a 350-360 bushel combine like several of their competitors have the past 10 years.

"The greatest in the world" Are you high? We run 9770s and spend $15k annually on each machine for reconditioning. Anyone who has any experience knows that the Deere rotary is a work in progress. Witness what appears to be a new returns threshing system about to be introduced. It is a good combine in many conditions and a great combine in a few conditions. But given all the conditions facing producers around the world, proclaiming it to be the "greatest in the world" is a bit naive. There are a lot of features on the axial-flow that I envy. -Mike

Welll, I've worked for another color (yellow), and now work for a JD dealer- no comparison!! Much less annual maintenance costs, parts are actually available when you need them, the machine is strong, reliable and easy to use. Plus there is a market for them when they are traded!! Also don't come the Case-IH with me- same D.N.A. !! parent company (CNH) dictates the company culture.
